The sales and city taxes are based on Houston and Texas government mandatory regulations which accumulates to 8.25%.

The Compliance and Administrative Cost Recovery Fee:

The Office In America Co. Compliance and Administrative Cost Recovery Fee (“CRF”) is a fee that Office In America Co. charges in order to recover the various costs and expenses that it incurs in connection with:

1. complying with legal, regulatory, and other requirements, including without limitation federal, state, and local reporting and filing requirements;

2. responding to subpoenas, civil investigation demands, and other official requests, and otherwise assisting with official investigations;

3. reporting and managing payments to third party technology services providers; and

4. acquiring and protecting intellectual property, including without limitation through the filing and maintenance of patents, trademarks, and other proprietary rights.

The CRF is not a tax, nor is it mandated by any level of government or government agency. The CRF is currently set at lump sum of 6.75% per transaction for Office In America Co.
